Tami and I were invited to attend Merce Cunningham's Ocean last night at Martin Marietta's Rainbow quarry. It was really not at all what I expected. To me the whole thing seemed random and made no sense. I had all I could do to keep from laughing most of the time. It is supposed to be a big deal for those in the know but it was completely wasted on me.
